# Top Up Your eBanano Data Plan While Travelling Mid-Trip

> Running low on data? Top up your eBanano plan instantly without buying a new eSIM — add more GB to your current plan in just a few taps.

Nobody wants to hit a data wall in the middle of a trip — especially not when you're mid-navigation or mid-photo-upload. The good news: if your eBanano plan is running low, you can add more data instantly from the app or website, wherever you are. No new eSIM, no QR codes, no reinstalling anything. Just a few taps and you're back online.

## How to Top Up Your Plan

    Launch the **eBanano app** on your phone, or head to [ebanano.com](https://ebanano.com) in your browser and sign in to your account.

  <Step title="Go to My eSIMs">
    Tap or click **My eSIMs** to see your active plans. Select the plan you'd like to top up.

  <Step title="Tap Top Up or Add Data">
    On your plan's detail page, tap the **Top Up** or **Add Data** button. If you don't see it, your plan may have already expired — see the section below.

  <Step title="Choose a Data Package">
    Browse the available top-up options and pick the one that fits your needs. Whether you need a little extra to get through the day or a bigger boost for the week, there's a package for you.

  <Step title="Complete Payment">
    Review your order and complete the payment. eBanano accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as popular digital wallets.

  <Step title="Your Data is Added Instantly">
    That's it! Your new data is added to your existing plan right away — no waiting, no restarting your phone, no scanning a new QR code. You'll see the updated balance in **My eSIMs** straight away.

  Top-up data is added to your current eSIM profile — you don't need to reinstall, re-scan, or do anything extra to your phone. Your eSIM keeps working exactly as it was; it just has more data now.

## What If My Plan Has Already Expired?

  Unfortunately, once a plan has expired, it can no longer be topped up. You'll need to purchase a **new eBanano plan** for your destination instead.

  However, if your plan is still active but getting close to its expiry date, you *can* top up early to extend your data before the clock runs out. We recommend keeping an eye on your expiry date in the app — it's shown right alongside your remaining data balance.

  To buy a new plan after expiry, head to the eBanano app or website, search for your destination, and follow the standard purchase flow. Your new eSIM will be a separate profile, so you may need to activate it on your device.

  Keep an eye on your balance the day before your plan expires — topping up proactively means zero downtime. You'll wake up the next morning with data still flowing, rather than scrambling to reconnect.

## Refund Policy for Top-Ups

Top-up purchases are generally non-refundable once data has been added to an active plan. If you run into an issue — like being charged but not receiving your data — please reach out to our support team right away and we'll sort it out.
