Your eBanano account holds your eSIM plans, order history, and payment details — so it’s worth keeping it safe. The good news is that securing your account takes just a couple of minutes, and we’ve made the whole process straightforward. Here’s everything you need to know to stay protected while you travel.

Setting a Strong Password

A strong password is your first line of defence. Use at least 12 characters and mix uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols (like !, @, or #). Avoid using your name, birthday, or anything easy to guess — and please don’t reuse a password from another website. A password manager can help you keep track of everything without the headache.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security. Even if someone gets hold of your password, they won’t be able to log in without the second verification step. We strongly recommend enabling it.
1

Go to Account Settings > Security

Log in to your eBanano account, tap your profile icon, and navigate to Account Settings > Security.
2

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Find the Two-Factor Authentication option and toggle it on.
3

Choose your verification method

Pick the method that works best for you:
  • SMS — a one-time code is sent to your phone number each time you log in.
  • Authenticator app — use an app like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate codes.
4

Complete setup and save your backup codes

Follow the on-screen steps to finish setting up 2FA. At the end, you’ll be given a set of backup codes.
Save your backup codes somewhere safe — a password manager, a printed note in a secure place, or an encrypted file. If you ever lose access to your 2FA device (e.g. a lost or broken phone), these codes are the only way to get back into your account. Without them, account recovery is much harder.

Forgot Your Password?

No worries — it happens to everyone. Here’s how to reset it:
1

Go to the login page

Visit ebanano.com and click Log In.
2

Tap 'Forgot password'

Below the password field, tap the Forgot password? link.
3

Enter your email address

Type in the email address associated with your eBanano account and submit the form.
4

Check your inbox for a reset link

Look for an email from eBanano with a password reset link. It should arrive within a minute or two. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
5

Create a new password

Click the link in the email and enter a new, strong password. You’ll be logged in automatically once it’s set.

Suspected Unauthorized Access

If you think someone has accessed your account without your permission, act quickly:
  1. Change your password immediately — go to Account Settings > Security > Change Password.
  2. Enable 2FA if you haven’t already — this prevents further unauthorized logins.
  3. Review your order history — check for any purchases you don’t recognize.
  4. Contact our support team right away so we can investigate and help secure your account. We take account security seriously and will act fast.
If you received an email or alert saying your account was accessed from a new device or location that wasn’t you, here’s what to do:
  1. Don’t panic — it may have been you logging in from a different browser or device.
  2. If you don’t recognize the login, change your password straight away.
  3. Enable 2FA to block any further unauthorized attempts.
  4. Reach out to support if you’re unsure — we’re happy to help you review recent account activity.
