Why was my card declined?
Why was my card declined?
A declined card can happen for a few reasons — none of them are fun, we know. Here are the most common culprits:
- Your bank may have flagged the charge as unusual (this happens a lot with international companies). Try calling your bank to approve the transaction and retry.
- The card details entered don’t match what your bank has on file — double-check the card number, expiry date, and CVV.
- Your card may not be enabled for online or international purchases. Your bank can switch this on quickly.
- Insufficient funds on a debit card.
Can I pay with multiple payment methods on one order?
Can I pay with multiple payment methods on one order?
You can combine Bananos points with any other payment method (card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) to cover part of the cost. However, you can’t split a payment between two separate cards or two different digital wallets on a single order.
Do you support PayPal?
Do you support PayPal?
PayPal isn’t supported at eBanano right now — but it’s on our radar! In the meantime, you can use a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or your Bananos points. If PayPal support is important to you, let us know via the feedback button in the app — your vote helps us prioritize.
Will I be charged in my local currency?
Will I be charged in my local currency?
eBanano displays prices in USD by default. Depending on your card and bank, you may be charged in USD and converted to your local currency at your bank’s exchange rate — or your bank may charge a small foreign transaction fee. We recommend checking with your bank if you’re unsure. Using Apple Pay or Google Pay can sometimes help avoid extra fees.
