If your phone supports two active lines, you may be able to keep your home SIM for calls and messages while using a travel eSIM for data.
Your home carrier may charge separately for calls, texts or roaming. These charges are outside 2Chip’s control.

Which SIM does what?

Select the travel eSIM for data

Open Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data and select the installed travel eSIM.Also check Allow Cellular Data Switching. When enabled, the phone might use your home SIM for data.
The eSIM’s line name in your phone settings may not literally say “2Chip”. Check the profile in your order if you’re unsure which line is which.

What about roaming?

Your travel eSIM may need Data Roaming enabled to access a supported partner network. Follow the conditions for your package. You do not need to enable data roaming on your home SIM for the travel eSIM to work. If you’re avoiding home-carrier data charges, make sure the home SIM isn’t selected for mobile data. Calls and text messages to your home number may still incur your home carrier’s roaming rates.

Check which SIM is using mobile data

Turn Wi-Fi off, open your phone’s mobile-data settings, and confirm the selected line. Check automatic data switching as well, if your phone offers it.

Back home?

Switch mobile data back to your home SIM. You can turn off the travel eSIM; you don’t need to delete the profile. Whether you can reuse or top up that same eSIM depends on its package and expiry, so don’t assume it will work on your next trip.
