If a specific eSIM supports top-up, you can add a compatible package without installing a new eSIM profile. Open that eSIM and tap Top up.
There is no automatic renewal or automatic future charging at launch. Every top-up is selected and paid for manually.

When Top up is available

The button is shown only when the provider currently allows top-up for that eSIM. It can be available:
  • before the eSIM is installed;
  • before the plan activates;
  • while the plan is active;
  • after a fixed data allowance is exhausted, if the validity has not ended and the provider still allows top-up.
If top-up is no longer available, 2Chip hides the action and offers a new product instead.

How to top up

1

Open the eSIM

Go to My eSIMs and choose the profile you want to top up.
2

Tap Top up

2Chip shows only options compatible with that eSIM.
3

Choose an option

Review the data or days added and the price.
4

Review the order

A top-up is a separate purchase with its own payment and receipt.
5

Pay

After successful payment, 2Chip applies the package to the existing eSIM profile.

What gets added

Fixed-data plan

A top-up can add more data and more validity. When the result can be calculated reliably, 2Chip may show what you have now, what will be added, and the resulting balance.

Daily or unlimited plan

A top-up adds days of validity. The daily high-speed allowance does not automatically increase unless the selected package specifically says otherwise.

How long application takes

After successful payment, 2Chip allows up to 2 minutes for the top-up to be applied. While that window is still normal, check the current order status instead of opening a support request. If the package is not applied within 2 minutes:
  • the top-up is treated as unfulfilled;
  • 2Chip automatically starts a full refund of the amount actually paid;
  • a used promo code is restored after the successful refund with a new 6-month validity period.

Do I need to reinstall the eSIM?

No. A successful top-up is applied to the existing profile:
  • no new QR code;
  • no reinstall;
  • no separate new eSIM.

After final expiry

Top-up may no longer be available after the eSIM or package finally expires. 2Chip only shows Top up when it is actually available for that eSIM.

Something went wrong

If the paid top-up is still being applied, wait for the final order status. If an automatic refund has already started, do not create a second refund request. For another issue, open support from the related eSIM or order so the context is attached automatically.
